We are excited to share with you the newest development from anytron. Today, we have announced the official launch of its new in-line digital press for label and flexible packaging, the any-JET II. it is designed as a turnkey, in-line and dual function solution with print label & flexible packaging, lamination and a laser die cutter for the brand owner and private label markets.
The new any-JET II, powered by Memjet inkjet printing technology, offers in-line finishing capabilities, 1600×1600 DPI high resolution lamination and custom label shapes and sizes with laser die-cutting. It supports variable printing and cutting speed from 3m/m to 18m/m (9.8 to 59 ft/min) depending on the label design. Users experience greater flexibility and can produce a broader range of applications in today’s continuously changing and fast-paced production environment.
The any-JET II is engineered for fast production speeds and high-quality images. This all-in-one machine is designed to have all functions such as over-laminate, laser die cutting, matrix remove and slitting that are needed when produce labels. Additionally, any-JET II can be utilized on Flexible packaging printing and laser scribing for easy opening, microwave steam release feature pouches.
One of the key developments in the system is ‘any-Flow’, an integrated workflow and RIP software allowing to control printer and laser die-cutter with integrated user interface. It extracts cutting lines from printing design when user loads design to the system and the cutting data automatically sends to laser die cutter to be ready for production. Furthermore, Auto job changeover is embedded for users to change their job automatically by reading a QR code that is printed from print engine.
Brian Kim, the sales manager of anytron (from Bitek Technology Inc.), recently said that everyone interested in making the shift to digital production is delighted with the any-JET II. ‘Not only will it enhance your production capacity, but it will also expand the flexibility of your application. The idea of an inline system is that the preparation time for production is cut with about 10% to 20%, which can shave off a lot of time on a normal working day ‘ he said.
This innovative solution eliminates waste and lead times for label orders, improves flexibility to support private branding and personalization strategies and supports highly variable applications with just-in-time delivery.

Let’s compare the digital die-cutting method with the existing analog method.
First, there is a difference in preparing cutting line.
Since the steel die is made through bending as in a typical manufacturing way of analog method, which normally takes 3~5 hours, it is difficult to manufacture at the first place. However, the digital method uses a design program, and takes only 1 minute to prepare.
The analog method takes an hour to set-up, but with the digital method, the file can be simply saved and loaded again. If the cutting line has to be modified, it can be done immediately with the digital method. On the other hand, re-manufacture required for each error or requests for design changes are difficult to accommodate in the analog method.
Now the cutting has been completed. While the digital method simply saves the file for the completed cutting line, the analog method requires some separate storage area.
In general, the digital die-cutter, any-CUT III, can result in tenfold savings in terms of time and cost over the analog method. “Now, the digital laser die-cutter any-CUT III
