8inch Wide Engine
Gives more option for label and pouch size
The GHS legislation lays down specific requirements for minimum label sizes to be used for particular pack sizes and these are based round the ‘A’ series of dimensions.
The most popular sizes are:
[ GHS label size requirements ]
Capacity of the package | Dimensions of the label (mm) |
Dimensions of the pictogram (mm) |
---|---|---|
≤ 3 liters | If possible, at least 52 x 74 | Not similar than 10 x 10 If possible, at least 16 x 16 |
> 3 liters but ≤ 50 liters | At least 74 x 105 | At least 23 x 23 |
> 50 liters but ≤ 500 liters | At least 105 x 148 | At least 32x 32 |
> 500 liters | At least 148 x 210 | At least 46 x 46 |
These minimum sizes cover only what is legally required to be printed on the label but as most companies will want to add other information e.g. logo, batch numbers etc then A4 labels (L1/210297HZ) will also be used and it is likely that labels larger than specified will be used for the different container sizes e.g. A5 label (L2/210148BCHZ) on 50 litre bottle gives room for requirements of the legislation plus personalization, batch details etc.
The maximum media width of Any-002 is 215mm, it can cover all size of the GHS label requirements.
