CHALLENGE :

Genoss needed a model-specific package of more than 100 medical device-related products and many labels when selling the products.

It had to order more prints than it needed due to print shops’ MOQ and delayed exports due to prints’ late delivery. Also, due to frequent changes in the contents of overseas export products, many unused labels have been accumulated and discarded.

SOLUTIONS :

Genoss’s label production manager looked for machine to print directly by the company and purchased anytron, a digital label system optimized for small amount of variety.

“It was a challenge for us to purchase printing and cutting machine and operate it the company, but since we can immediately print the quantity that we want with any-002 and cut it with any-CUTIII for quick production and easy management.”

RESULTS :

Genoss currently produces all product labels with any-002 and any-CUT III. Previously, the unused labels were piled up as in the picture below [Before]. Now, it produces as many labels as it wants whenever needed to manage inventory efficiently, as in the picture below [After]. Also, it paid KRW 10 million per month and disposed of more than 100 million labels a year when outsourcing to printing shops before, but now it can save KRW 80 million to KRW 100 million per year by producing only the labels it needs.
